Yep, that's what I think will happen. Seriously would you rather hold BCH or BSV and BTC or BCH and BSV? If one of the two folds it's still golden. It's a no brainer.

bch has so much more potential.
sv vs. bch = statism vs. liberty..
crypto IS the new religion. previous religion was statism
replied 2281d
So that's the SV. "Statists' Vision".

There's a big market for stability. Why do you think half of the third world is rushing the borders of Europe and America? Do you live in Somalia?
Hurensohn
replied 2281d
stability!=state. third world rushing to europe because of free tax money. european rulers needs instability to increase there power.
more instability>more rules > more power >more tax

If there are no checks on state power(like decent elections, separated branches of government, free speech protected with government force, literate population etc.) you have tyranny.
Hurensohn
replied 2280d
government calls the "wrong" opinion hate speech and arrest you. they do not want literate people. they want order followers. Educated people could question the necessity of rulership
Sk8eM dUb
replied 2280d
Right that's why you have to have a government that naturally limits itself. You don't want anarchy because whatever gangster is in charge will not limit him/herself. That's tyranny.
Hurensohn

Goverments are the biggest gangsters in town. Gangsters are not the problem, a free society can keep them in check. People who want to be ruled and legitimize rulership are the problem

Define "free society".

People who can think for themselves and do not need a king/president to tell them what to think/do. Rules without rulers. Like crypto. I think people who want to be ruled prefer BSV ;)

And if Roger or Aumary do something you don't like with ABC what will you do?
Hurensohn
replied 2277d
bitcoin is not just a currency.it will overcome the religion of 'Belief in government'.if ABC becomes corrupt, there will likely be a fork.I'll always follow the libertarian fork
Sk8eM dUb
replied 2276d
So you believe in the government of ABC but Bitcoin has a magical power that makes people not believe in government? I'm very confused by your statements.
Hurensohn
replied 2276d
I don't have to believe in anyone.I can dump my coins anytime or switch to another chain. Can you dump your government anytime? You cant even choose your government
Sk8eM dUb
replied 2275d
There's no such thing as free speech or the right to defend yourself in an anarchy - only power. If you want no government whatsoever you want tyranny.
Hurensohn

No rulers does not mean no rules. If we stop obeying the mafia, the mafia will disappear. However, if you are so obsessed with being ruled, you can also be governed voluntarily
Sk8eM dUb
replied 2272d
Hahah nooo, if you stop obeying the mafia - they KILL you.
Hurensohn
replied 2272d
Not if you defend yourself and help your neighbor, if he is attacked by mafia instead of helping the mafia if he becomes its target
Sk8eM dUb
replied 2271d
How many neighbors is too many neighbors to organize this defense with? What you're describing sounds a whole lot like a government and police.

That's the irony of course. People fleeing instability aren't going to get it. But the places they come from are not stateless. Those are places that have no checks on state power.
replied 2281d
Yep, but although I speak out against SV i am still holding both coins of the split. There are no guarantees what will happen. An example Roger Ver and CSW still holding BTC
Mrpumperitis
replied 2281d
I sold the sv i got from exchanges but i kept my offline BCH ,offline.
I still got lots of og BCH, unsplit as i was wanting a unified version to exist...
Hurensohn
replied 2281d
I hope there is a big competition between bsv and bch. competition leads to innovation
