To what I understand, with split-protection off, having only abc coins & posting from abc.memo.cash, your message will only be seen on abc.memo.cash + memo.cash, but not sv.memo.cash.
So abc.memo.cash and sv.memo.cash show their respective chain's messages, and memo.cash combines messages from either chain.
