Converting CO2 into anything is an interesting idea, but is very energy intensive. Also not capable of pulling enough out of the atmosphere. I hope it develops further though.
It might work if energy is almost free and limitless. It always takes a lot more power to separate the CO2 than it took to generate it in the first place.
I mean trees do it. but was thinking more "High-Selectivity Electrochemical Conversion of CO2 to Ethanol using a Copper Nanoparticle/N-Doped Graphene Electrode"
