Ok lets pretend USDT is not a scam..what is its incentive to exist?
Why would someone create USDT and pay for its operations and make nothing back?
I’ll get off my soapbox about it, but all of this is really depressing; the blatant theft shows how ugly humanity can be. How much wealth is enough?
They got enough $...I think they just want to control all crypto...or destroy it.
Well, if it’s only 70% pegged to the dollar, that 30% can be used to procure more bitcoin and artificially inflate the price to sell for more fiat or hodl and grow via scarcity.
I suspect exchanges pay BFX to provide them with USDT for liquidity so they can steal from their customers.
