Should be easy enough with the public/private key pairs we have

would be similar to what keyport are doing, i want to see encrypted group chats on either memo or keyport, this would be a game changer. Slack and others would be obsolete

much as i would prefer them to compete, i think it would be great and save a lot of time if memo and keyport worked together.
