Even if I hated CSW (I’m neutral), i’d still respect the Nakamoto consensus. BS has zero hashpower and took over BTC. What’s up with minority/zero hashpower ruling ? 🤦♂️
Nakamoto consensus is all good and fine, but we have a problem if both sides are hostile to future scaling of Bitcoin, or trying to divert its usage in different direction.
Never thought I'd see BCHers defend a dev team that demonizes miners, says pools are dangerous, inserts controversial software cuz moar decentralization!, says Bitcoin needs fixing...
Exactly. ABC camp are playing exactly like BS now, PoSM. On hindsight, we now realize why BCH split off, miners didn't know they had power to "defend" by "attacking" Core with hash!
They didn't even change their narrative lol. Miners are evil, decentralization is paramount, block size increase is dangerous, txns are spam, bitcoin needs to be improved to scale, etc
The situation is different now. BS took over because any client that wanted to compete with Core had to HF. Now when HF's are the norm in BCH the hashrate can easily be bought.
Based on this fact, and the fact that CSW knew how to play the game of Bitcoin better, I would place my bets on CSW on the upcoming hash battle. (Note that CSW can kiss my ass)
What irks me is Jihan/Haipo are not even putting up a fight at all. They are absolutely terrified of being judged by the markets but they should show they are the stewards of Bitcoin
Well, if thats a bad decision (which I think it is), Bitcoin as a system will be making them pay for that. Mining is a Red Queens Game, you slow down, you lose.
