The #fuckingcapitalists think they can sell their way out of responsibility for their incredible environmental destruction. They can't. They can't use the same destructive agenda to fix things.
If it becomes profitable to clean the environment they will, and have already begun to. So yes, capitalism can prevent the things caused by the original industrialisation.
