ED complained in his videos about only earning 20% of his labor at his job & being “exploited”. Has he gone into freelancing? Started his own business? (Correct me if I’m wrong but) nope.
Not everyone & their skill is suitable to start their own business or is everyone able to or wants to run their own business. This does mean however that they should be exploited.
Not every antelope is suitable to escape the lion. I don't see the faster antelope volunteering to be eaten to protect the slower. That's because nature knows that weakens the species.

while those who dont have those skills and/or desires make the choice to trade some of the value of their labor for security, regular/predictable income, an easier life.
So you mean like capitalists, are compensated for the value they create with their *unique* skills and desires?
