I'm not sure but it looks like 32mb blocks will clear 50 - 75 thousand transactions every ten minutes. So ~400k/hr, ~5 million/day.
i read somewhere it was roughly 44,00 per block, so x 144 = 6,336,000, which is why i was thinking 5 million, as no blocks actually need to be full to process that number of tx
