Without replay protection, miners will decide because one chain will die quickly.
It is not so easy to add replay protection and keep the ticker. Everyone needs to add it, including SPV wallets.
That depends on the price of forks. Most mining pools will use both nodes. Bitmain, Viabtc may use only ABC. CG may only SV. Finally each fork will get enough hash rate.
