You can't hide things in open source. I just sent you the link to the code.
So why you compare public checkpoints with hidden checkpoints, known only to selected miners and exchanges?
You can't hide open source. The code, including checkpoints, are visible to every person on this planet including miners/exchanges. No such thing as hidden checkpoints 🤷♂️

yes you can hide open source. The code was sent to the exchanges and to main ABC miners ahead of being open sourced, allegedly. That's how.

What's a hidden checkpoint?

Not public checkpoint. Known to only a subset of miners/services

Everything is public. You are misinformed or misunderstand how the software is distributed.

That's ok. Just trying to help explain it. Ask any questions you'd like 👍

Do you support Amaurys Vision or Satoshis vision?

It's not Amaury's vision, it's Jihan's vision that Amaury is implementing. Jihan says, Amaury does

FYI, Jihan did NOT create BCH. It was SOLELY Haipo

Jihan and Roger are not the boss which is crazy part and shows they don’t understand Bitcoin. Checkpoints were put in WITHOUT their knowing. SUPER STUPID as they fought with hash

I only want my money behind an Einstein, Steve Jobs, Elon Musk. I’m never putting my fortune behind anything less than genius again.

You're putting your money behind mathematics, which are constant across the universe. That makes this experiment universally special 💚

I just saw the timestamps. If what Andreas Brekken's time references are correct, there was at least 1 hour in which the fork checkpoint was not public

Checkpoints aren’t the problem. Open source isn’t the problem. The way in which this particular checkpoint was implemented is the problem.
