That's why you need to lock your phone with a strong password and set a pin-code/fingerprint lock on your wallet. Most phones have built in encryption.

Good point.
Turn off your phone when meeting a cop. Then it must be unlocked by password.

Get a cheap #android phone which has the ability to remove the battery. Then put a piece of paper between the battery contacts & only remove it whenever you need the wallet.

That could work as an alternative hardware wallet for storing larger funds.
However, for convenience I like to have a spending wallet on my primary phone for smaller purchases.

I do always use a password. I don't want Google or Apple to know my fingerprint.

Yep, have evaded the law for decades now, if Google got my fingerprint people would know I did survive.

How about memorizing your mnemonic seed words and then just restoring your wallet whenever you need to make a transaction?

Fingerprint is actually a very bad idea, because police can force you to put your finger on that phone or robbers can do it for you after knocking you out or drugging you!

These are all good ideas. Can gov unlock a phone through a back door currently?
