German flag air carrier Lufthansa has suspended flights to and from Tehran until Thursday, a spokesperson for the company says, citing security threats as the reason.

The decision to suspend flights was due to "the current situation in the Middle East," the spokesperson says without providing specific reasons, as quoted by German newspaper FAZ.
