Of course some labels are more restrictive than others. Anything with the suffix "ist" is particularly sticky.
If someone feels “restricted” by what another person thinks of them, that sounds like a personal issue. Gotta get over that.
That I agree with. I guess I'm talking more about labeling yourself. Big difference between calling yourself a "musician" and a "feminist", or even a "capitalist".
