The people with the best chances in an election in the US are the ones with millions of dollars to spend campaigning. Either from silver-spoon upbringing or the corrupt under-the-table sponsorship of political parties
To make matters worse, most Americans are too afraid to deviate from the two party system for fear of invalidating their vote when they could have used it to swing the red/blue see-saw
