I would like a .cash alternative for audible, where I and others could record audio, listen to each other, and rate the content.

To what benefit, just to cut out Audible? Either way I'd support it if it somehow was built on top of BCH.
Why not just create a topic to contain all the reviews on recommendations?

You could have rules which, while not enforceable, would hopefully keep it clean. Only posts in the topic would be the book title and author's name and reply to it to rate and review.

How would I cut out Audible?
What audible bring is a program that bluetooth headphones respond to for pausing/playing the content, and a payment system for authors and narrators.

IDK you're the one who said alternative to Audible, that's why I was asking. But you're talking about user generated content, right? Then couldn't you just use SoundCloud or something?

I thought you were talking about just book recommendations and user reviews on the blockchain.

Nope :)
I'm talking about multimedia-ing memo.
Not just tweets, but other content to be tippable as well.

Yeah, I press the pause/play button and nothing happens:

I'm sorry but what are you even talking about now? Those are YouTube videos and them not playing has nothing to do with Audible or user audiobooks. Your posts can be very confusing.

I like to listen to audiobooks.
Others do too.
YouTube enables a freeform of audible.
Imagine doing audio podcasts and getting sats for it.
replied 2900d
Yeah I'm right there with you but why not then just use a platform already in place and accept BCH donations or use DTube/BitTube if you're planning on going the video route.

That's certainly possible.
It's a much more difficult process for tipping though.
It's much easier to press a button and choose an amount than to scan and send BCH addresses.

I suppose people could read books to YouTube and post them here for background listening, but that would also mean that parts and segments would be better than one portion.

How could the author be supported? What about DMCAs per new books being read to the blockchain?
What about those same videos being uploaded to Dtube which cannot be taken down?
