If you don't trust that the economic benifits of mining honestly/not wrecking the coin are greater than burning it to the ground, you never believed in Bitcoin in the first place.

He doesn't seem insane once you understand that this is what has to be done in order to have Bitcoin system adopted and used by everyone. Bitcoin is a great system, why change it?

Spinning up dummy nodes is no different than having a bunch of socks "voting" on a forum. Ppl make fun of CSW for ridiculing PoSM but he's 100% correct. "The community" is a myth.

Exactly, that's how astroturfing can indirectly affect the miners. That's why you see these scorched earth Narratives. They're trying to get ppl to sell/buy to influence mining.
