The banks feared their Uber moment came, but then Blockstream came out of nowhere and killed the use of BTC as money and derailed it into "digital gold". That left a gap for other coins to fill the gap left ,
and now I wonder if the banks know how utterly fu*ked they are when a whole ecosystem including stablecoins supporting SNARKs emerged which is far better than BTC.
