Scale.cash developer said on twitter the reason we are not getting bigger blocks is because there arent enough miners.
We're not getting bigger blocks because there are propagation issues AND because most miners have a hard limit of 8MB or less. Regular stresstests can improve both of these areas.
Then what accounts for the >8MB blocks that have been mined?
IIRC most miners cap at 8MB but some or one allow bigger?
Like I said, MOST miners aren't mining larger than 8mb
