The likely explanation is that Google is far more popular and as such it is being manipulated a lot more.

Because google is so large they can exert anti-competitive forces on the market that a smaller player could not.

I had one little slip up 3 years ago due to lack of sleep and google has since attempted to damage my reputation. It feels like google is harassing me.
