Anyone here from the USA know how well Google's hangout dialler works for making calls to USA mobile and landline numbers ? Is it reliable ?
It's OK, the sound quality is bad though, and Google is degrading the service slowly. Why don't you try it and report back?

On hols to USA soon. Our mobile provider lets us ring home (UK) and each other but not to USA numbers, so looking for a way to call USA numbers while in USA.
The Signal app allows you to make calls over VOIP much like Skype. It's free and requires no additional account creation. Just use your phone numbers like normal.
