Just met with some Tokyo BCH folks and we were trying to war game the fork. We don't think Jihan will pull much hashpower from BTC because he won't risk killing the golden goose.
However, the fact that he hasn’t means that he has already conceded to BitcoinSV. What a loser. I mean, he’s sleeping with the enemy daily for years, why would he wake up now?
It's a catch 22 because he's too invested in making ASICS for all the various shitcoins. If BTC starts to have big problems his whole business will be in jeopardy.
I don't really believe that Jihan is actually just Jihan. China is run by a straight up fascist government, meaning your business can not be successful without Party support.
If Jihan were going to fight, he would move his hashpower over NOW, so BTC difficulty would adjust down on Nov 2nd which would allow for a prolonged battle after the fork.
