Did the doctor let the woman know it's OK to not bring her son? Because the doctor may have thought it's a severe illness, and still needs help.
The response may have been proportional
In Romania, a woman was ill, and called an ambulance. Then she went unconscious. The ambulance found the closed door, and the law did not let them open it. The woman died.
