You can't afford to buy food with BTC. Big distinction. The network fees are too expensive to make this transaction economically viable. I can buy pizza on Bitrefill with BTC.
Only if i want to spend $4 fees on a $40 giftcard that is. Easier to swap to an altcoin like ETH or LTC and use that instead. LN channels are too expensive to manage without rebalance
