Part of the reason why Core is moving to federated (Liquid) and long living (LN) solutions, is because it's easier to monitor users in them even if they retain some level of censorship resistance.
That's a well known attitude of minimizing the "problem" digital tech creates by changing it as was done with HTTPS for example.
