It is not about blame, it is about repetition. If we are watching others repeat the same stuff over and over, can we really learn something new at each repetition?
As for focusing on the self, I do try to do that, but I can focus on the self just fine without even joining a chat, and I can find civil chats where there is less mindless repetition

I see LightRider as pretty close to a robot. Whenever there is a real talk starting she just runs away and then restarts copy/pasting stuff from her favorite leftist newsfeeds
Yes. I can see how LR is part bot part human. It's pretty likely considering just HOW much posting LR does. Could just be extreme chanism.
And I view the texts she writes as white noise (worse than silence). And then there is the expletives which are quite unnecessary. Overall a bad influence even with the BCH traffic
Meh, that's like, just your opinion, man. This is the internet. Get Memo++ and mute LR out. There is some method to that madness. It's educational to see how people use this platform.
Bad influence not just to me, but to the community, as everyone turns from real conversation to fighting the troll each time trolling occurs. Me muting LR will not change this.
And if you still think you can use this stuff to improve economic systems, which part of the repetition, the expletives, the trolling and the rest is going to give you new insights?
Really, the fact that we keep yelling and shouting and repeating the same things as if we have the answers. We are on memo.cash. This is what it looks like this close to the network.
I have, and I am sure you have too, observed this phenomenon countless times before, both here and other places. I still fail to see how repeating this lesson helps me.

I have a rudimentary understanding of the idea that the goal in some religions is to stop going through the cycle of life/death. I have yet to understand/accept this as only solution

Then withdraw. Stop feeding the trolls. Like it or not, LightRider has spent significant amount of money making the Capitalism topic flourish. If not in the quality, then in quantity.
I have tried to ask people to not feed the trolls for a while now, and it seems the majority does not listen. Also, I must admit I have been using this to hone my own skills a bit
If a group had joined me in ignoring trolls and talking about real things, I would still be interested in conversation. But I still claim this is a prerequisite for a real conversation
