Hey guys, what can we do with the export keys section of memo.cash? I mean, I tried scanning the qr code in "import wallet" in the bitcoin.com wallet but get "Error. Incorrect Code Format" 🤔
Electron cash is a good wallet to import your key into. Interesting about bitcoin.com import, thanks for reporting.
Thanks a million memo! Managed to import a BCH wallet in Electron Cash with just the private keys although at first I got scared when I saw the search results
The Bitcoin.com wallet does not support the use of a private key, so you can't use this wallet. You need to do it with Electron Cash.
What?? You cannot import private keys on this app??
You can only sweep private keys. Means - send all balance from that key to your wallet.
The closest thing with the Bitcoin.com app is to tap "scan" at the bottom centre, scan your private key QR code and "sweep" it like a paper wallet i.e. withdraw your whole memo balance
But obviously this is not nearly as useful as being able to import the address as just another wallet so you can spend and recharge your memo balance with ease
That's exactly what I did and it threw out the error above. 🙁 Anyway, @memo suggested Electron Cash and it works just like a wallet, giving you the ability to spend/receive easily.
Only if you "add a wallet" then "import wallet". Don't do that. On the home screen, tap the "scan" button at the bottom middle, scan the QR code & there'll be an option to sweep.
