Nah you'll get people starting 100 accounts just to withdraw. I mean I guess if it was just 5 cents worth it wouldn't be more than a normal faucet. We'd need a big underwriter though.

Right, by giving everyone money, you are inviting spam.

However, by memo ONLY accepting twitter-banned people (using an automatic check) memo is using costly Twitter's labor to grow.

I estimate every person Twitter bans costs them $1 - $5, between lost revenue on false-positives, and manual labor of editors, and manual labor of computer programmers writing checks.

It's about to get worse with all the insane EU rules being rolled out. It'll probably start hemorrhaging money and need a bailout within the next couple years.

What insane EU rules are you referring to?

1-2 cents would be enough to get a name and 1-2 posts. Would have to be smart about rate-limiting and IP tracking. You'd need a botnet that would cost more than you'd make to automate.

Nonetheless, isn't memo still under development?
It's mainly those of us BCH enthusiasts who have gathered here.
Once the features are built, wouldn't people just start gathering?

This. While I agree that giving out money could be inviting "gaming the system", dealing with putting BCH in, especially if you aren't familiar with it, is prohibitive.
