The #fuckingcapitalists abhor democracy. They can't allow the exploited masses to have power. The US has never had democracy and republicans are currently trying to steal elections right now.
The US was never set up to be a democracy, there is state representation in the senate and democratic state elections, both parties are trying to win using the rules of the game.
