Why do you assume it would wreck your country? I am guessing if the amount is that high it is talking about the USA? I dont want to say much without knowing for sure.

Because poor ppl vote for subsidies meaning the tax exempt international conglomerates can absolutely ravage the small/medium sized businesses(paying the lions share) they compete with
replied 2255d
As for this funny story about international conglomerates, that would never happen. It's not as if everything would suddenly be decided by referendum.

It's already the status quo
replied 2254d
Okay then. If you think that is what happens now then it is not a bad thing at all.

Tell that to a Venezuelan, or a Zimbabwean or a political dissident in China, or a rape victim in the UK or Sweden
replied 2254d
Make that, things aren't bad in either nation.

I'm not the one you've gotta convince that "things aren't that bad"
replied 2253d
I know. The people who live in those nation dont think there is a problem either. Except for a small minority of the hard right in those nations that is.
replied 2254d
How do the first three countries listed fit into the topic? As for the UK and Sweden, well what? Oh the trumped up stories of a few crimes... so what? Things went bad in either nation.
replied 2255d
Well immigrants are usually not poor. They can afford to move to another country after all. They dont only come from one place either.

As for what they would vote for you dont know.

There's 14,000 strong marching up here right now. If they're not poor why are they coming to the US?
replied 2254d
Only 14000... which isn't a lot really. They are essentially fleeing for their lives. Which is fine. More people isn't a bad thing. They participate in the economy and make it stronger

Hey Sam, what happened the morning of 09/11/2001?
replied 2254d
Some hijacked planes were crashed in various places... What does that have to do with anything?
Sk8eM dUb
replied 2254d
Who hijacked the planes?
replied 2253d
Arabs... what is your point though? I can see were your going with this, and your point fails when out into context.

Has the US been bombing middle eastern countries for the better part of 15 years? Do you think "arabs" are stupid?
replied 2253d
The US has been bombing the enemies of the Saudi's more specifically. The Middle East is not one unified place. The only reason the US sanctions Iran is to help the Saudi kingdom.
Sk8eM dUb
replied 2253d
How is that relevant? Do you think the enemies of Saudi Arabia are stupid? Do you think they don't know it's American bullets and bombs that kill their families and friends?
replied 2252d
No, it is just that the Saudi's are a main portion of the Arab population. Not all brown skinned people are the same. I was seeing where you get confused.
