Sounds like a chicken and egg problem. Cuz you have to define work, and There's always the question - to what end are we working?
no need to define work if individual purpose, intent and meaning were the narrative,
work would be the vehicle.
"Meaning" is much closer to the point I believe. I like to define art as something that has more meaning than prosaic language. Something that shows us a deeper vision of ourselves.
and meaning is up to each individual to define, is it not?
Hahaha that's the rub isn't it! You certainly know when something you're doing is meaningless! I think we could zero in on something that most (non nihilist)humans would agree with.
