I am hearing rumors of BCH devs changing block size back to 8MB and add Segwit2x. Is this an April Fools joke or FUD? Please comment.

Yes, it's Aprils fools. They will NEVER raise the blocksize because that will risk making BTC an altcoin, which is precisely why they never hardforked and set up fake bad forks.
