You can have a digital QR code on the meter - harder to rip off. But you can never protect completely against vandalism. Someone could also destroy the cash meter...

Agree. Could also stick it behind plastic. Need to make sure it's not too easy to destroy while being scannable. I like the idea overall, though!

Why meter? City/streets to zones. Zone has a hourly rate and simple code on the street signs, Start - your licence plate + zone code. Park anywhere in the zone. Currently done with SMS

Yeah either way. It’s just a concept. I think you could test different specifics in different locations. There’s absolutely more than one way this could work.

It's a awesome idea and perfect for BCH but you really don't need physical meters any more. Expensive. Very simple map + park pay app, posters/signs, admin soft /server to run, report
