What are we supposed to do about it though? The miners hash decides doesn’t it? Our hands are tied unless we want to risk replay/spliting coins early....? Maybe I’m misunderstood?
To be honest, doesn’t seem that way. It seems like this whole thing is a giant pissing contest that comes down to who can afford to fund the most mining rigs to “win a hash war”
We can absolutely fork the hashing algo and then CoinGeek is fucked. Not saying it's optimal but I'm not being ruled by a tyrant and I'm not waiting until these people run out of money
Fork to SCRYPT now and call yourselves RogerCoin and we won't destroy you... well not until we start renting SCRYPT miners to kill Litecoin and all other SCRYPT shitcoins.
It’s the “allow” part that I am confused with. How exactly would one not allow it? Everything feels out of control. The alternative of “choosing a side” sounds like gambling
Sorry I’m an idiot and didn’t link my 3 responses together properly. My 3 posts read backwards now. Sorry. Hope you can still understand I’m trying to say.
If you sit back and allow the miners duke it out then we are back to the pissing contest of whoever has the most money for mining rigs wins the hash war. It all seems futile to me.
Since by choosing one side over the other as a means to “not allow it” then if your wrong in your choice you loose everything. If you hold you allow the miners to duke it out.
True but that didn’t actually answer my question at all. “We can't allow "others" to rule it either.“ I asked how we would go about not allowing it? Choose/sell a side=gamble.
Wright & BSV are not allowing it by using majority HASH POWER. Roger & Jihan cannot do anything about it except output more hash power that BSV and be allowed to continue their work.
