Well you kinda can if that changes the price of each chain... then hash power follows profitability...In theory it could be a successful attack... but an attack it would be!

I think the state would be more than happy for this chaotic situation to turn out to burn a lot of true believers. They'd love it. I do not trust coinex after that announcement.
That exchanges must honour the longest POW chain and that anything else is defrauding the participants on the exchange... they'd get away with it.
I'd like to think the law would cover it but... I don't think so somehow... they could argue symantics and split hairs about the definition of the "real BCH"... no law that states
