Has anyone published 1984 to the blockchain? If not I think I am going to try to do it using mttr.app

Do it. Contact me if you run into errors and I'll show you what I did.

Sounds good. I am going to try to time it right at 12:00 UTC

This is a good idea. Better use of BCH than stresstest in a way. At least it is putting useful content on the blockchain - uncensorable.

the stress test will provide useful data in any case. see e.g. https://www.reddit.com/r/btc/comments/9byuy5/please_set_up_your_full_node_servers_to_log/

did you get the error: "Unable to query just broadcasted tx after timeout);" (on mttr)... I'm trying to post a book and this is second time I've gotten this error.

Can you describe on here or even mttr.app, I am getting the same problem. Twitter always asks me for a phone number

Basically this: https://memo.cash/post/7350b56478b19dea408ee7b35fbfb400c8d6934da20b3c26795231ae35019a4d

You have to change the main.754c78b796d530545a9e.bundle.js file with your own.

Easy way is to get Requestly Chrome extension, and make a setting like this:

Then start your own local http server and host the modified main.bundle.js

I can walk you through it, but only in instant message.

I think I got it working. How long did it take for you?

I've had to restart twice so far, once for forgetting the title, the next for misspelling Orwell in the title 🙈

Haha, triple check! Took me around 24 hours I think, having to manually restart posting after every block. 1984 is much longer though.

LOL. Might be worth making a tampermonkey script to automate it. However, I think a better book protocol will come sometime in the future.

Managed to get the appendix to work in one swoop, but the rest seems too hard to do. The app always decides to stop working midway.

Sending myself a lot of utxos seems to help a little. Will prob fail though as I have to pause to attend an event.

Miners seem to be skipping my txs, I guess b/c of the stress test

possibly you can get a timely reply if you ping @MatterBCH on twitter. no such user here unfortunately.
