$vegardwikeby It's clear $handles can be the next bank account number of BCH. Looking forward to when handles themselves are decentralized and BCH protocol compatible on-chain.
With decentralized handles, how do you prevent squatting? Unfortunately I don't think handles alone will scale. I think a hybrid system of handles + web of trust could work.
It was more of an idea based on someone elses idea, so I haven't thought of all the aspects of it. However, having several entry/exit points to a BCH address would not be a bad idea.
A memo.cash profile is similar to a $handle with the "like" button as entry point and exit point (when liking other peoples posts). I am looking forward to many similar BCH services :)
