🪖 The UK army has conducted live-fire tests of its brand-new Challenger 3 tank, which is equipped with a new smoothbore gun, advanced sensors and state-of-the-art reactive armor, the UK government says.

The tank has been manufactured by German-UK arms manufacturer Rheinmetall BAE Systems Land at a cost of £800 million ($997 million), creating around 750 jobs at the plant and in the UK, the government adds.
