1) I ran Bitcoin XT with -minrelaytxfee=0.00000001 and then use the RPC commands: createrawtransaction, signrawtransaction and sendrawtransaction .....

Thanks for the instructions, will look into it but 1 sat or even zero should be possible to move very small tips.

Yes I should. I didn't succeed doing it though. The tx got dropped from the mempool without a confirmation.
