similarly, don't drink calories (e.g. milkshakes, soda, juice, alcohol). only drink 0 cal (e.g. water, tea, coffee (no cream no sugar), flavored water)

Exactly, I started low carb diet 2 weeks ago.
Avoid grains, eat meat and vegis as much as you like. You will feel great, lose weight as well as health problems, should you have some.
