Thats the one. And if you read the article it confirms the guy lost funds because of a bug in ElectrumSV. The lie was that coindesk tried to turn this into a vulnerability in the BSV protocol, not just the wallet software.
It first showed up in the "not broadcasted yet" tab and then it was broadcasted but the tx has been unconfirmed for days. The tx id also doesnt show up in any block explorer.
ElectrumsV is super sketchy I lost 0.1 BSV the other day, the money is simply gone. I won't even bother asking for support because the guy behind it is... less than helpful. I know other people have lost funds because of this shoddy software as well.
Frens I ordered two custom apus from this gentleman and my experience has been nothing short of outstanding. I hear these apus are flying off the shelves and prices will go up soon. So I suggest you stock up immediately while they're still cheap.
But why would an outdated version just make the money disappear? This whole thing is sketchy af I don't like ElectrumSV at all. Ive seen reports of people losing their funds before.
The tx is still unconfirmed and I cant find it in any blockchain explorer. the money is gone thank God only $20 The only thing I can imagine is that I was using an outdated version of ElectrumSV. I updated to latest version and a new transaction worked.
The appeal is that you need to sign every tx on your hardware wallet before it goes through. So even if your pc got hacked they couldnt steal your funds. And yes Im shitting myself its all sketchy af
Trezor does not support BSV. You can use trezor with electrumsV as a workaround which I do. But ElectrumsV is frankly a piece of shit with no support, its sketchy as hell. I just lost $20 that disappeared into digital nirvana.
I just had $20 disappear into digital nirvana because I hadnt updated to the latest ElectrumSV version. The money is gone. Now Im waiting for 30+ minutes for another block to be mined on BSV. THE MONEY OF THE FUTURE
