It’s not incentive mechanism it is content ranking mechanism
1. Hash/dollar is stable between asic releases. 1 bsv could be whatever.
2. New list members can’t be retroactively paid, hashes has more signal for those people - for all they know all previous participants are your socks and you actually spend nothing.
