I'm guessing he didn't share this thought with Peter, Preston, Max, etc. based on the massive rhetoric this week... Not a full capitalist/BSV-nirvana believer/etc. - but, in the words of D.K. and others, PoW helps fix this...
I think I'm missing something... why would bitcoin, as envisioned by many in BSV (nirvana of it being the 'one' chain/money) need to be backed by metal?
I recognize Calvin has put more into BSV than anyone... and I know he's been provoked and criticized. That said, I think @4479's comments were professional and appropriate...
Who is this in response to? Not sure of Twitter intricacies - private vs blocked, etc. The only person I think that's blocked me is someone called SirToshiTV or something - not really sure why or who that is...
I do see the cult vibe in BSV/bitcoin. Building community & culture is tough. Need a common "purpose" to bond over and rally around... to vector other elements (vulnerability, mastery, etc.) into something transformative. But, not an echo chamber fo' sho.
I think because the satire is so spot-on. The notion of current BTC vectors and narratives actually empowering / changing the world. I'm assuming he hadn't seen it before and just thought he'd share it with a community that would likely appreciate it.
