Not necessarily. It’s a good indicator of how open (lacking), dutiful, and agreeable someone is. These characteristics are largely immutable post development, and so ought not to be the basis by which one discards friends in times of unrest.

For reference, I really like Starling Bank here in London. No bricks and mortar, just a great app that lets me use fiat for when bills must be paid.
The Twitter thing reminds me of a very similar scam that was happening on YouTube a few months back. Reposting a live stream of an old conference and framing it with a “giveaway” scam. Good to know that tracing means they will be caught and stopped.
