I got fed up with the businesses I submit to accept bitcoin.cash never actually being listed, so I’m finishing up an alternative site. Anyone interested in helping with testing / initial merchant population?

Lol, Jimmy Song literally blocked me on Medium. I didn't even know that was possible... Some people just refuse to consider the possibility they were wrong. It's ok, Jimmy. You're only human.

I thought Jimmy Song was an arrogant moron before yesterday's antics, but now it I know it.

Yeah Serena got her ass beat and was just a down right sore loser. That's ok, until you get the crowd to boo the young girl who happened to beat you at her first Grand Slam title.

She also does not have every right to "stand up for herself" by yelling at the umpires and smashing her racquet, hence why she was penalized.

Serena threw a fit like a child. She knows the rules of tennis, they can't change a call once its been made.
2273d · News
How is the chair umpire guilty for making the correct call (after being reviewed on video later)?
2273d · News
Ok, not all respect. She is still a beastly freak of nature who took women's tennis to a new level.

Lost all respect for Serena after that match. Total lack of sportsmanship.

Anyone out there in the Memo-verse in or around Denver? Met lots of crypto peeps here. Gotta be some of you BCHes here!

If so, let’s start a meet-up.

I won't claim to understand much about FBA, but from what I do, it seems too centralized. Ultimately relying on relatively few central (and known) validators.

Had a crazy past week / weekend. Sand boarded at Great Sand Dunes Ntl. Park, biked in Telluride, concerts in Aspen, the stress test, & crushed some personal code I've been writing - all with a bizarre stomach illness.

50k tx and counting... so help me this next block better be big.
2281d · stresstestbitcoin.cash
Quick update on that: I currently have 32k transactions in my mempool, and Bitcoin.com just mined a 62 kB (yes, thats a k) block.

Very true. Unfortunately, it's difficult to tell what is the miners fault, and what is the developers fault. Ultimately tho, in a mature network, its on the miners to run the best sw

My node currently cranking away at 20 transactions/second, 23k transactions in mempool, yet blocks are still tiny... the fuck is going on here?

How so? Please don't be afraid to share how you feel. This anarchy works best if we all argue about things together.

Man, we really need to get Roger on Joe Rogan’s podcast. It would do so much for Bitcoin Cash. My own girlfriend couldn’t care less about my decentralized social networks until Joe mentions them lol

Joe Rogan encourages his listeners to use decentralized social networks (Ethereum based, but still)!!! https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.ccn.com/joe-rogan-discusses-ethereum-based-twitter-in-light-of-alex-jones/amp/

Transactions STILL aren't getting through on the next block. My node has had 10,000+ tx in the mempool for the last hour.
2281d
Clearly our various software implementations need some work. Hopefully we will iron out these kinks as the network reaches such a massive transaction volume naturally. Should be a good lesson for miners and devs.
2281d
Well, that test was honestly a little disheartening - massive mempool backup, no 32 MB blocks. We are still at a crucially young stage in the network. We NEED the network to be operating as advertised & designed.

I liked that message because I agree with them, lol
