💡Wild idea.l: SLP tokens should just be called Simple Tokens.
Easier to say. Easier for new folk. Highlights the contrast to erc20 tokens which are overkill for most projects.
Keep it simple! #dailymemo
I like SLP token, same as erc20 we immediately know what is it (and from which chain) with the name. If we use simple token, then BSV will do easy token, and so on. It'll be a mess
Many within the BCH community argue that IPFS technology is superior to blockchain technology in storing large data files in a decentralized manner
Why is it superior if there is no incentive for the "IPFS nodes" to keep your data ? They're doing that for free, aren't they ? I don't understand how it can be "superior"
I feel like I am being harassed by google. When you compare search results from different search engines the relevancy changes dramatically. I prefer https://duckduckgo.com/ as I feel it is the most relevant.
Hmm :/ maybe you used to do a certain type of request, and then when you search for something else google considers it's the same type of research What search engines have you tried ?
I’ve calculated the next crypto bubble is going to be $6 trillion, triple the last. That’s the one where BSV takes over because only it will have the capacity to supply the demand
"Using multiple transactions, how can Carol manipulate the channel state so any payment from Frank to Alice must pass through her? Can she do so without losing any money?"
This one is scary. Can you really "manipulate channel state" ? (I guess you need to send payments to yourself, that would be weird)
Increasing the op-return limit to 100Kb, and maybe stress testing with huge blocks coming from miners (not tx from the mem pool). But no not so much change, I guess it already works
And once the "protocol is set in stone" (or whatever) changes needs to be made by people, not by BSV. So unwritter is improving it's stuff, same for money button, etc

Apps like memo instead of twitter. No one owns the protocol, same way no one should be able to own an idea or a concept. Twitter blocked meerkat and launched periscope, this is unfair
I won't discuss Metanet because I didn't research enough (I don't spend my time with CSW ideas), but I'll point just one thing: blockchain for data storage is very inefficient.
If there are only 10 nodes in the network it's not inefficient to duplicate data 10times. Facebook is maybe duplicating more than that and still being down sometime ..
Ironically, BSV supporters stated that Bitcoin should be a stable protocol for just p2p e-cash. Hence, CTOR/OP_DSV rejection and the split. Now, CSW talked about Metanet...
Bch is doing p2p cash already. They lost the hashwar so they need to do something else Anyway I'm not here to convince about sv. You asked for something exciting about sv, it's Metanet
Metanet. More exciting than "p2p cash" (maybe because I'm a programmer). I want to live in a world where protocol is open source (I don't care of p2pcash) and Metanet can do that
