If you don't put all the eggs on the LN basket it won't work cause it needs capacity. But yeah it needs to solve that ..
They let bch-guys fork off, that's more than enough

It's ok to don't like LN, but it has some interesting use cases (see satoshis.place, LN apps could be a huge thing)
Coinspice made a video about LN, they show that it's easy to use

Ppl buying drugs with bitcoin, laundering money, all that stuff. If you want to hold for the long term you should'nt mix your coins with thoses people, your coins can be "blacklisted"

Why would I mix my coins with criminals ones ? Am I getting paid for that ?

It's because it's a new site, if someone floods the owner will find quickly a solution agaisnt it. And the fact it's on chain makes it really easy to spam
That's nice ! Good luck

How that makes them less vurenable to hacks ?

Everything is finalised in a couple of seconds
If there is a constant stream of 20txs/sec (or more) will it be slower ?
Waiting for the next stress test to see how Avalanche handles it

Memo isn't free. We need to pay for txs. So why not a free version of memo powered by ads? Users can choose if they prefer ads or to pay their txs

What's the difference ? There is a lot of cash inside "banks" (or ATM or whatever) that you can just steal if you hack them. If we use crypto it won't be different, we won't have hacks

@memo pay for the tx of new users, and puts ads on the site for them. I'm not an expert but maybe ads will generate the money they need to use the site

Banks have a lot of money in "hot wallet" too. It's not different, and they don't get hacked
Moreover with LN I'm pretty sure you can hide behind tor

It'd be cool to tip users and get the money back if they don't use it
