BTC segwit breaks the model, it's no longer bitcoin. It's junk. I would love to have a real debate about this. There is no way BTC can claim it's best. It's just using the brand.
I think btc is broken too, but somehow LN might work or BTC might become a store of value like gold (and be usefull for some usecase, like Komodo DPoW) Id love to see a real debate too
Why does it feel like this chat discussion here is >50% about SV these days? And why is it almost exclusively bashing BCH instead of being productive?
Because the more you know Bitcoin, the more likely you are to dislike what ABC has done to Bitcoin. Memo users are more likely to know Bitcoin, thus more likely to disagree with ABC.
Honestly I really don't care. I will hold both coins from the split. Both coins will be fast, cheap, and reliable. I favor BCH because CSW is a douche. I could careless about the tech
If you select a decentralized coin by looking at it's leader you missed the point of crypto currencies
Compare BCH to Blockstream - the former is promoted by people like Ver and Jihan who are staked in the coin, while the latter are staked in fiat which they earn regardless of their decisions.
Source they are staked in this coin ? They had 1M bch, I'm pretty sure they sold before the fork during the hype But roger and jihan wants to earn money from txs, so do block stream
It is currently 248.60% more profitable to mine BCH than "Blockstream's Vision":
https://cash.coin.dance/
"Blockstream vision" wtf, can't you read and and sv roadmap ? The fact it's not profitable to mine sv just mean abc security is extremely low, that's it
I'll play your "concern" game: as of now, BSV hash is twice that of BCH, but price is around 1/3 ($60 vs $180). BSV Miners may want to consider how good it is to be 600% worse off
For example, I have mined BCH since October 3rd but only sold once and made enough to pay overhead for decades. I’m investing PoW into SV to make it stronger.
presentation to make BSV appear like it's a legit coin and not only meant at taking over the ticker and the ecosystem. You CAN NOT patent code, and his "patents" are plagiarized anyway
Maybe it's plagiarized yep, I don't know I don't know every single stuff written in computer science, so yeah maybe. Who cares ? People are paid to read it's patents, so we'll see

So it won't prevent me from using it ? x) He isn't patenting code just it's use case I don't care if he doesn't know how patents works, he knows how Bitcoin works. It's enough
Either:
1. you don't understand the point of patents
or,
2. there's a severe communication problem between the BSV HQ and the shills
First : I'm not a shill Second : just link me a patent that will prevent me from pay people with Bitcoin He is patenting weird use case such as what bitdb is trying to do
Roger Ver has capitulated on block 557961. bitcoin.com has not mined a block for almost 11 hours. Cease and Desist Roger, cease and desist! #dumpthatBAB#cryBABies
Fiat is only fast in person. I can't buy stuff off purseIO with fiat. I can't feed the chickens with fiat. I can't send fiat fast to a person in another country. Get it now?
PurseIO is Amazon, feeding chicken is useless, and banks will solve that last problem in less than 10years (Bitcoin won't be adopted in less than 10years) Bitcoin is for small usecase
One of the problems that Mastercard never had/will have is introducing gambling codes like SPV into the protocol. Imagine being known as Mastercard, "card for the gamblers"
Yeah ofc, I'm pro-sv too, but for "minor changes" it's ok I think
BSV will thrive. It is the closest to the original Satoshi vision. It was created to defend against contentious protocol changes that will prevent massive adoption.
I'm not sure that protocol changes prevent mass adoption. If Mastercard change somehow its protocol it doens't prevent the user from using it
Just curiious. "When have investors flocked to "Because it is the closest to Satoshi Vision"? It's about Cheap, fast, and reliable and adoption. I think Faketoshi is going bye bye.
Fiat is cheap, fast and reliable isn't it ? I don't get your point
