Personally, I don't have a problem with people liking things more than once and I think it should be counted. The "fix" to it being infinite is that it has a cost.
Not sure if that's possible but it may be a better idea to create a "vote token", so that 1bch=1vt, and then you can separate your vote token and your bch, and therefore sign with the
Address holding the vote token And there might be some better option to prevent vote token to be sold, like publishing a hash first, and reveal it each time you want to vote and so on
Was thinking of "on chain voting" and I think "holders" doesn't want to use their key each time they want to vote. Even on vote.bitcoin.com you have to do so (you need to sign with your private key)

I think if CSW & nChain do hire more hashing power to commit 51% attack they would openly expose themselves as enemies of Bitcoin & no one would ever trust them any more.
Getting more than 51% is the correct move. Attacking minority is the move CSW SHOULD do. Most ppl just think it's bad, when it's not.
Even if I hated CSW (I’m neutral), i’d still respect the Nakamoto consensus. BS has zero hashpower and took over BTC. What’s up with minority/zero hashpower ruling ? 🤦♂️
I just wish this thing would get over with already. There is so much FUD about it. It reminds me of Y2K when the whole planet was supposed to implode. And then nothing happened.
Only 10 more days of this silliness and then hopefully everything will turn out to have been a lot of useless FUD and the BCH community will be stronger because of it.

How will any potential hash war or chain split affect the workings of memo? Do us users need to take any precautions ahead of time?
Good question. Short answer is that you don't need to take any precautions ahead of time. You will always have access to your keys (though I recommend keeping a backup).
Right now : It is currently 2.90% more profitable to mine on the Bitcoin (BTC) chain ( https://cash.coin.dance/blocks ). I guess this number will go higher if hashrate comes from btc to "fight for" bch
Indeed. I see the same patterns with nChain as with Blockstream:
- Cult
- Trolling
- Censorship and not wanting open discussion
Anyone can see that the anti-CSW ppl are just as much or more of a cult. I've seen numerous anti CSW posts on r/btc with hundreds of up-votes. I've never seen that for a pro CSW post.
If there is a chain split on November 15th, I'll take both my BCH and Bitcoin SV and exchange them into Monero until the ecosystem decides a winner. And no, it's not as simple as hashpower duels. We are proof of that.
No, I think it will be fine. These fights have been envisioned by Satoshi already. It’s just first time it’s happening for real
I agree that all parties have thought this through and are committed to their actions and they have more to loose than we do, but damn, seems like a game of chicken.
💌 Check your wallet, find memopay transaction with the message. Today bitlotto.cash sends free satoshis to 10.000 randomly chosen BCH addresses. Good luck!
"It's safe and legit" where can we find proofs ? Usually on bitcoin gambling sites there is some maths proofs it's not a scam
"If Dec '17 was a SPAM attack on BTC, does that prove that BTC is vulnerable to SPAM? In Sept '18, BCH was "SPAM" attacked by it's users, 2mil TXs were fine and fees actually went lower."
I'm using your datacash lib, so I tried to split the build and send process, and I even tried to build 3 different transaction with 3 different rpc, and 90% of the time it takes ...
more than 600ms to receive it back thought bitsocket, I'll try maybe with a different library and a different network connection but I'm afraid it won't work :)
Good luck! Looking forward to playing with it. Also feel free to join the bitdb chatroom, there are many others working on bitcoin apps https://t.me/joinchat/HH1DDQ8pZlSlsdNcKgIcxw
