New tool by unwritter (I am not the creator of that) : https://bitsocket.org It allows you to "listen" for the blockchain. A server notify you each time a transaction (with conditions) is created
I agree on that part. I don't think it should be done on the same day.
Doing the stress test on the same day as the November upgrade is a recipe for disaster. Why can’t we wait until one week after? When the dust has settled & can focus on testing..?
I designed this Bitcoin Cash #BuiltForBusiness 'Super Brochure' highlighting how easy it can be to start accepting #BCH. Free to Share & Distribute OUTSIDE - INSIDE-
afford that, you get only one-way (payment-only) channels. That is the rule now for all LN users with mobile devices. And then there are all the other minor problems of the LN,
What's the point of one-way payment ? The seller that received my money will need to do an on chain transaction to use the money I just gave him or do I misunderstand something ?
Unless you believe that Satoshi was an almighty god which could foresee all future development, I don't see why some optimizations cannot be carried out on the protocol.
But what defines the "core design"? Changing stuff which is not part of the "core" is ok then? Is the transaction ordering (ref CTOR) part of this "core" or is that part of the edge?

They enforce basic rules: No asking for votes, delete duplicate posts, ban proven scammers, ban excessive abusive users... Mod-logs are open to inspect
Crypto market is down, BCH is down, lots of crypto app activity is down. Memo activity may be low but I look at this as a slow period for building before the rush comes, hopefully :)
Keep building. My comment was more of an internel questioning of the reasons why it's in a slow period.
Uncensorable distributed speech is valuable in itself - right?
I reduced my 4 hour instruction to people about what is Bitcoin to “It’s like money.” And when pressed further for details I respond “it’s, it’s just like money.”
This approach is crucial. We need to focus on utility, explain "what you can do with BCH" instead of "what BCH is". After using it, the curious ones can dig deeper & learn the rest.
